HOW THEY MET: Through work when Kevin worked as an IT technician.
PROPOSAL: Kevin proposed on Leanne’s birthday at Lizzick Hall, Keswick with a firework saying “Marry Me” on April 29, 2006.
VENUE: Greenhill Hotel, Wigton.
THEME: Azure blue, ivory and silver.
BRIDE’S OUTFIT: An ivory Alexia Couture strapless dress with pearl and crystal detail on the bodice and veil from Olivia James Bridal, Egremont and a tiara with silver and crystal detail from Warren York at Olivia James Bridal.
GROOMSMEN: The groom’s brother Jody Long was best man and ushers were the groom’s brother Ryan Long and the bride’s cousin Matthew Wilson.
They wore grey tailcoats with ivory waistcoats and ties from Greenwoods, Workington.
BRIDESMAIDS: The bride’s sister Helen Wright and the bride’s friends Christine Armstrong, Michelle Dolan and Laura Hinde were bridesmaids and wore azure two-piece dresses with crystal detail on the bodice from Olivia James Bridal, Egremont.
The groom’s niece Imogen Long and the bride’s cousin and god daughter Jessica Brough were flower girls and wore ivory dresses with crystal and pearl detail from BHS.
FLOWERS: A bouquet of roses from Floral Design, Workington.
TRANSPORT: A cream Beauford and a Daimler from Highams Wedding Services, Hayton.
RECEPTION: Greenhill Hotel for 110 guests during the day and 120 during the evening.
TABLE SETTINGS: Balloon from Crown Celebrations, Whitehaven or rose flower arrangements from Floral Design, Workington.
FAVOURS: Foil wrapped chocolates in silver and turquoise put together by the bride and groom.
CAKE: A three-tier square fruit cake by Abigail-Jane Hunt, Wigton.
FIRST DANCE: I Love The Way You Love Me, Boyzone.
ENTERTAINMENT: Harpist Anna-Kate Pearson from Windermere played during the ceremony and Aztec Disco from Carlisle in the evening.
HONEYMOON: Kefalonia, Greece.
PHOTOGRAPHER: Highams Wedding Services, Hayton.
VIDEOGRAPHER: Arthur Williams, a friend of the bride’s father.
