LIFESAVER Syliva Rennie rescued three gold and two silver medals at the sport’s national championships.
Competing in the over 60 years category, the Keswick woman took the overall gold medal.
And on her way to the overall title she also golds in the aquatic and the swim and tow sections plus silvers in the life support and the throw sections.
Rennie, a member of Cockermouth Life Saving Club, and club-mate Tracey Erlston were representing Cumbria and the North West at the Royal Life Saving Society event.
Erlston, who was team captain, came fourth in the fourth in the 30-39 years group.
In the sections Erlston was third in the line throw and the life support and fourth in the aquatic and the swim and tow.
The Cumbria/North West team came ninth in the team rankings.
Rennie and Erlston are both trainers and assessors at the successful Cockermouth club.
For Rennie the qualifying round and the national finals were her first ever competitions - previously she’s only trained others for contests.
She was delighted and shocked by her success.
