August 1-17th - Lake District Summer Music.
Music Festivals of classical concerts and events are to be held at different venues throughout the region.

August 25th - Keswick Agricultural Show.
Cumbria championship sheepdog competition. Special attractions featuring The Company of Horse Men, Wild West Show, Cumberland & Westmorland wrestling, poultry tent, vintage machinery display and much more. Fun and interest for all.

September 6th - The Lakeland Trails Festivals in 2008 will be supporting local Mountain Rescue charities, with many of the competitors raising funds for the Mountain Rescue through sponsorship. The Festivals will also be supporting a major national charity to be announced early in 2008.

September 21st - Borrowdale Shepherds Meet and Show.
You would find it difficult to find a more dramatic setting in which to stage sheepdog trials, traditional sports and games, sheep shearing exhibitions, displays of arts and crafts, sideshows and stalls.

December 7th - Traditional Christmas Fayre.
